All about Tahini

So, what do I say? Make eating carrots exciting! Try this Tahini Carrot Salad with Spiced Chickpeas recipe, and enjoy a tasty way to eat carrots!
Combine the highly nutritious carrot with tahini and spiced chickpeas! Come on, just follow the recipe, and carrot won’t taste the same anymore! And don’t forget to give me some, okay?
1 can chickpeas (15-ounce)
Salt and pepper
⅛ ground cinnamon
⅛ ground cayenne powder
¼ tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup tahini
¼ cup lemon juice
⅛ tsp ground cayenne
½ tsp salt
1 tsp honey
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic (minced)
2 tbsp parsley (minced)
Water (if necessary for thinning)
½ cup small red onion
½ cup raisins
3 cups carrots (shredded)
1 cup parsley (fresh; minced)
Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Toss the chickpeas along with the oil, spices as well as salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare it on a baking sheet and roast for about 15-20 minutes in the oven.
Remove from the oven, let it cool.
Using all the ingredients, mix it in a bowl and stir it until it’s smooth.
If the dressing is too thick for your preference, you may want to add water.
Season it and set aside.
Combine the carrots, raisins, parsley and onion with the prepared dressing.
Mix well.
Sprinkle salt and water according to your taste.
Top it with the spiced chickpeas.
