Ingredients for Tahini Yogurt
- ¾ Cups Yogurt
- 1 Clove of Sliced Garlic
- 2 Tablespoons of Tahini Paste
- 1 Tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Black Pepper
You are good to go with having all ingredients at room temperature. Small variations to the dish can be carried out, whilst keeping the core same. Aleppo pepper can be used instead of black pepper.
How to Prepare
You’ll need a blender, bowl to hold the paste and few kitchen utilities to get your way around slicing, cutting and mixing.
Blend the tahini paste, lemon juice and olive oil until smooth in a mixer/blender. You can also use manual whisker, in which case, beat the mixture continually while adding the oil at a steady pace. You can use your choice of oils, such as groundnut oil, according to preference. Sliced garlic seasoned with salt can be added here.
Later on, add the yogurt and blend until smooth texture is achieved. Empty the mix into container of your choice and mix with cumin and Aleppo pepper.
Season the mix with salt and pepper.
