Garlic is one of the well-known herbs and spices. This spice can grow all year round. It has an aromatic strong smell. It’s commonly used in culinary throughout the world. And it is believed to lower down cholesterol fats and blood pressure inside our body.
Just like tahini, garlic has its own way of making your dishes tastier and healthier. Combining them together is a brilliant idea. Oh well, with tahini, sky’s the limit anyways.
There is tahini garlic sauce you could try to make at home.
Garlic Tahini Sauce – a dip that’s perfect for your roasted cauliflower.
Ingredients:
- Pepper (paprika or anything you like)
- Pinch of salt (or more)
- 1/3 cup of tahini paste
- 1/3 cup of warm water
- 1 garlic clove (cut in half)
- 2 to 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Procedure:
- In a mortar and pestle, put the garlic clove and pinch of salt. Mash the garlic until it becomes a puree.
- In a bowl, put tahini and garlic mixture and blend them in. Put fresh lemon juice one at a time.
- One at a time, add in warm water. This will make the mixture thickens, like a peanut butter or yogurt’s consistency.
- You can adjust its taste according to your preference. Add in the pepper, you can mix it or just sprinkle them.
